Hannover, 15.08.2017 - RFmondial presents a complete solution for DAB+ Monitoring and Logging for the broadcasting industry, including the DAB-Monitoring Receiver RF-DAB and the DAB-logging system RFarchiver. Both units will be presented at IBC in Amsterdam in September.
RF-DAB is a professional DAB monitoring receiver for transmitter, content and field monitoring. It features parallel full ensemble decoding of complete multiplexes including access of all audio and data services, as well as single frequency network (SFN) synchronization monitoring. "Its modular design enables flexible configuration for various specific applications, which we currently visualize via our publicly available Live-Demo", states Jens Schroeder, Managing Director of RFmondial GmbH in Hannover.
In addition, the RFarchiver is designed for enhanced audio and multimedia services for digital broadcasting. The server based system is able to directly store one or several service or multiplex streams (EDI), and enables easy access to archived content to the second for multiple web users. "The concurrent logging of multiple DAB data streams at important measuring points in the signal chain via the RFarchiver fulfills not only the legal requirements for broadcasting archiving, it facilitates even more troubleshooting and debugging in case of failure", Gernot Link reports, system engineer working for Deutschlandradio.
